AFP wins Rethink Award of the NRK!
This is award is given to products that best meet the requirements of sustainability. According to the jury of the NRK (Dutch Rubber & Plastic Federation), Katan-Ex Biobased stretch film has the so-called ‘X-factor’. They indicate that AFP has succeeded in being the first in the world to produce a high-quality stretch film (wrapping film) based on biopolymers. Katan-Ex Biobased is based on biobased PE, made from a residual stream in sugar cane production. This innovative wrapping film has a stretch percentage of more than 300%. Thanks to this High Performance stretch film, up to 50% less material is needed to achieve pallet stability.
