Thin films are always better.

Yes, thin films could work. In situations where pallet stability is critical, very often thin films don’t deliver the best results. For a stable load, per pallet the same film weight is required for both thin and thick film. For thicker films this means less wraps, so less wrapping time per pallet. On top, a thicker film is less sensitive for breakage => less chance of failures: extra production time & higher film consumption.
